If you have the opportunity to visit Mayo - Rochester, I highly recommend Dr. Wong Kee Song for the endoscopic removal of complex polyps. I personally had multiple large flat polyps successfully removed by him. For further details, please visit the GI Department website at Mayo.

Following your post. Have a flat polyp going in for another colonoscopy next week. Had one six months ago. Polyp not cancer. Local doctor scraped.
Suggested taking out appendix if necessary after this colonoscopy if necessary. After research polyps at this location are usually found at autopsy.
