Hi again!

First day without my cane. So far so good. I’m making sure my gait is normal.

Starting PT this week. Will get guidance on when I cam return to the gym. (I looked back, and it’s been 6 mos, largely due to the pain in my hip. That’s gone now with my implant.)

My doctor may order an X-ray to make sure the implant has seated properly, but I believe I’ll be ready to rock my month end.

Onward!
Bill

My surgeon did a six month review with X-Rays to make sure that everything is okay. One interesting fact: my surgeon did not want me to do a lot of walking for the first five weeks but said that bike riding was fine. I guess the bike riding doesn't put the same stress on the implant and the bones growing around it.
