@margaretob

I live in HOBOKEN and are on a SENIOR CITIZEN stats, with PERIPHERAL NEUROPATHY torment. Just got over a MASSIVE ATTACK of PAIN. Took two ADVILS prescription GABABENTIN 300 mgs. and hopped around for several hours in PAIN....took my INSULIN after a BOWL OF OATMEAT WITH A LOT OF CINNAMON IN IT AND IT FINALLY CALMED DOWN TO A LOW ROAR. I need to walk for about twenty minutes to spread the inflammation evenly, then it doesn't hurt so much..AM 76.....Margaret O

Real sorry you went through that last night. I hope today is better for you. I have been there and no fun.

At least with your 9 lb baby, there was a light at the end of the tunnel!! 😊

@margaretob I find the best first thing to do while standing is to force my heel down until it's flat on the floor (it hurts like crazy!), then massage the leg with any kind of lotion or cream that is handy. Works for me, and I hope it will work for you. I find Gabapentin useless for pain relief. All it does is make me sleepy and causes brain fog.

@margaretob I am so sorry about your pain, and share it with you, on most days. Neuropathy is insidious. Lori Renee

It sounds like you work very hard to take care of yourself, @margaretob.
