@oretsine most people I know see an endocrinologist for osteoporosis. In my experience a primary care internist prescribed the incorrect drugs for my situation. Do you need a referral to see an endocrinologist? Is that why you did not get a second opinion? Hope the new doc is more helpful!

Yes, a referral was needed and my primary said a referral would probably only yield a confirmation. I switched primary physicians and the new doctor felt that it was too soon to medicate with one area at -1.9 and the rest higher.
