@alexxa

@leeosteo, thanks so very much. I just ordered Great Bones 2 days ago and it was on my doorstep last evening so I am going to open it today! I happened to see a video. part of one, with the author, and was very impressed with his knowledge - I didn't have his earlier book.
Last night I happened to see a program that had 2 people I'd never heard of, "Buff Bones" and Dr. Doug Lucas but I'm not looking further into that, just curious as to when people start cautioning 'there are exercises you MUST do and those you should NEVER do" and I would like to work with a local PT and don't want to have to feel concerned that a well trained PT wouldn't know these things. I guess I'll see if they match all those taught by Betz, Melio Guide (don't have their resources yet), etc.
It's all rather confusing at this point. I am waiting to review dexa w/PCP - can make nothing of it myself.

alexxa, read the chapter on DEXA results in the Great Bones book. This will help you prepare questions for your dexa review with your PCP.

My PCP never caught an issue with my DEXA detail around L1-4 vertebrate. My PCP may have only read the summary report vs looking at the detail x rays. If you can, get a detailed copy of your DEXA from whomever performed the test, read McCormick's chapter on DEXA, and formulate your questions for the PCP.
