Hello @margery8, Welcome to Connect. You didn't mention how long you've been taking prednisone. There are some side effects of prednisone and I believe headaches are one of them but I never experienced them while on prednisone when my PMR was active. If it were me, I think I would discuss the symptoms with my doctor or rheumatologist to make sure they are not a serious side effect. Here's some information on prednisone:

Are you able to call your doctor or possibly the pharmacist and discuss the symptoms?
