I don't think New Chapter adds the strontium. The strontium is naturally found in minute amounts in the algae from which the calcium is obtained.

My bone metabolism doctor told me DO NOT TAKE STRONTIUM. He said it can cause a lot of problems and I didn’t really want to hear about it. He is famous here in Dallas in bone metabolism so I’m trusting him.
