Anyone tried Spinal Cord Stimulation for Chronic Pain?

Yes, I have had one almost 5 years. Recently it has had overheat alarms while charging as well as the main unit feeling uncomfortably hot at the unit in my flank. When it got hit recently I turned it off. To my surprise there was no increase in pain.

I am now in the process of making an appointment with a neurosurgeon to get it removed.

I wonder if you got the paddle style one if it would be better. My pain dr said the paddle style one on me would be better as where I have multiple bone spurs in my back on the right side. Will try it. But I am done with having surgeries. I have had enough in my lifetime and I want a normal pain free life. Let's hope!
