Yes, I have had one almost 5 years. Recently it has had overheat alarms while charging as well as the main unit feeling uncomfortably hot at the unit in my flank. When it got hit recently I turned it off. To my surprise there was no increase in pain.
I am now in the process of making an appointment with a neurosurgeon to get it removed.
Wow!! They were working on putting in your temporary stimulator with you awake?!!! Yow!!
They put me out completely-the Boston Scientific trial did not work at all which made their rep ( who I'm certain would have made a nice commission) really aggravated to the point that she did not even say she was sorry it hadn't worked or much worse!! I am scheduled in a few days to have the newly FDA approved Saluda trial. Tramadol and all of the drugs do something to my mind!! Have you been taking gabapentin or pregabalin? We want our lives back the way they were!!!
