I have found a 250 mg CBD ointment with lidocaine works great during the day. For night, I rub on 70 cabs/30 THC. It calms down my pain and allows me to get to sleep.
I was very taken by your recent post and the ointments you use. Would it be possible for to share with us where you managed to obtain these ointments so that, perhaps, others like me, may realize similar benefits?

Hi @rabbit10 and welcome to Connect! I want to connect you with @martid, and @grandma41 who have both recently written about peripheral neuropathy. They both had different causes of their diagnosis and can discuss their experiences with you.
How long have you been dealing with peripheral neuropathy?
I also have peripheral neuropathy starting in my legs and spreading now into my hands, especially fingers.
My balance and walking instability was improved immensely when I started wearing leg braces. While they are a bit cumbersome, I am able to walk quite well more efficiently and with much less fatigue.
I take 100mg of Gabapentin 3x/day with few side effects and much less pain in my back and down one leg.
Can someone tell me how peripheral neuropathy differs from other types of neuropothy?

It simply means the symptoms are showing in the peripheral areas if your body, that is your feet and hands. It is not a diagnosis, but a description. Neuropathy means death of nerves.

@mlmcg, @margottaylor, this short video by Matthew B Jensen Assistant Professor of Neurology, University of Wisconsin that gives a good explanation of how the different neuropathies are diagnosed. You can do a Google search for Matthew B Jensen YouTube videos for other neuropathy related videos that give good explanations.

I order mine from NanoBiologics out of CA. I haven't found anything as good at the compassion center here in RI.
Many thanks! Really appreciate your input as I have not been able to find much of anything to alleviate the pain.

Check out the Neuropathic Pain article on Wikipedia:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuropathic_pain
Thank you for the suggestion it still did not answer the questions I have.
