Thanks Ginger. Many different names are used, based on their configuration/brand/function..hence why I didn’t use any particular nomenclature besides a description 🙂
I’ve formerly prescribed all sorts, but mostly the Invocare hoist, found here https://www.pushmobility.com.au/products/invacare-birdie-compact which I’ve found to be quite versatile (but not the only one I’ve prescribed from Invacare).
