Gargling with warm salt water helps with me ...some, but, I have to do it about 6-7 times a day. It's very temporary. I am finding that McNeil Med Sinus rinse that irrigates the sinuses along with the gargling with warm salt water 6-7 times a day together helps even more. It's not a permanent fix though. Hopefully for us all one day this will be a thing of the past. I am considering going to Salt Room Therapy as this is supposed to clear out the sinus, lungs and nasal passages. Anyone else heard of this and if it works? Doing my research. Hugs & Prayers....

Don't you think all that saltwater would eventually irritate your throat? it's already irritated with trying to cough up all the nasty phlegm.
