You're one of the fortunate ones. I have been dealing with it since 2021 and am still at 10mg with some PMR pain all day. I hate Prednisone. I am convince it gave me "thin skin" where a slight bump gives me a red blotch on my arm and a slight scrap tears my skin and I bleed a good bit. I am currently being evaluated for Methotrexate, but am concerned that I will be trading one evil for another.

if it's any comfort to you, I had the red blotches on my arm a couple of years before my flare up and long before I took Prednisone. I read that it's primarily associated with ageing and liver disease. Something to look out for if you take Tylenol type pain killers.
