I agree with you. I'd like to know why she's been on Prolia for 8 years. My rheumatologist wants to start me on Prolia for only one year.

Please share what happened with you. Did you take the 2 doses of Prolia? Did it help? What happened when you stopped?
I recently was advised that Prolia is my only option for my osteopenia. I am on steroids and have other issues. The doctor told me that if I only take 2 doses and stop it will be OK but if I continue further than that, I will be on it for the rest of my life. Glad I heard that but uncertain of what I want to do. Thx

You seem so young to go on Prolia. You can't just stop it after 1 year as you risk spinal fractures. Do check this out. You could look at the discussion between Dr Rubin and Margaret Martin on YouTube. Dr Rubin only uses Prolia for 80 year old.
I would like to know what drug your Dr intends to transition you on.
