@pozwex, in addition to the information that @gingerw provided, I'll share that Mayo Clinic welcomes both new and existing patients for virtual and in-person care in adherence with federal and state executive orders and guidance.
Virtual care is available for out-of-state patients IF the provider you are seeing is licensed in the state where you live.
Video and phone visits also can be great options for appointments before, after or in place of face-to-face care. Appointment coordinators will recommend a virtual visit if it best fits your individual needs.
Appointment coordinators can also provide cost estimates and connect you with someone in the Insurance & Billing department.
I would call and inquire. http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63
Thanks for the information. I will check this out.

How are you doing, @pozwex?
Doing OK. Thanks for asking.
Fortunately, I found 2nd opinions right here in the DFW area so I am no longer seeking a 2nd opinion from the Mayo Clinic. The Mayo Clinic was great and easy to communicate with, but it isn't easy to handle all the issues from 1,000 miles away.
I now have additional "input" that I wanted and we are moving forward.
Thanks to all the people at Mayo that offered assistance. It is appreciated.

@pozwex Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Having received a diagnosis like this must certainly be unsettling for you! To get a second opinion, and inquire what Mayo Clinic may be able to do for you, please use this link to get connected: http://mayocl.in/1mtmR63
How are you doing emotionally with this news? Has it been a long journey to get to this spot?
