Cortisone injections. My doctor prescribed Colchisane, but I didn’t take it. I just relied on Tylenol or Advil if the pain was very bad.
I took nsaids for a decade and wore generation 2 knee braces when needed, for 17 yrs. I finally found a Dr in Vancouver who would replace my right knee. Because I had 4 scopes on that knee previously, there was a lot of scar tissue and recovery was slow. 10 yrs later I had the left knee done, and recovery was a breeze. Since I can no longer take nsaids, I use dicloffenac cream on my back, neck and ankles. It works pretty well, as long as I don’t over do it🤪
