Topical Magnesium Lotion for Feet
Yesterday I had an Integrative Medicine doctor encourage me to try rubbing a topical Magnesium ointment on feet, saying she’s heard it’s an anecdotal remedy for neuropathy feet, especially if they feel like you’re walking on gel pads or bubble wrap and may feel wobbly for balance (not pain). I’m never opposed to trying anything at reasonable costs if it seems to have merit, but while I’m googling where to find it, I thought I’d throw it out to this group and see if anyone has tried it and what results they think they got from it? Thank you 🙂

On Amazon, It's called Life-Flo Magnesium Lotion. It's an 8oz bottle. Very thick, so you only have to use a small amount. Price was $11.46.
Thank you for your reply.
Thank you!
John, what type and strength of magnesium capsules do you take and when do you take them? Always glad to be able to pick your brain.!

@bcool123 I personally take (2) Bluebonnet Magnesium Aspartate with 400 mg of magnesium in a vegetable capsule because of my food allergies. I take them at night when I go to bed to help with leg and foot cramping. (This is JerrysGirl 😊)
@redbetz I'm sorry, lol, somehow "bourbon" went in my sentence instead of "bought on" Amazon!! What I use is Seven Minerals Magnesium/Cocoa Butter Cream. I rub it on during a cramping episode in the middle of the night and it seems to work right away. I also take 2 magnesium capsules to keep it working the rest of the night. Someone posted another cream they found which I might try. I
@redbetz sorry I couldn't get back into my comment. I think they said it was called Life Flo magnesium cream or something like that
@bcool123, the magnesium I take is part of the Protocol 525 supplements - https://connect.mayoclinic.org/discussion/have-you-tried-the-new-protocol-525-product-for-neuropathy-relief/. Daily I take Chelated Magnesium 400 mg. Here's a reference how it helps:

Life-Flo Magnesium Lotion is awesome! I started using it about a month ago and have noticed that it really helps to reduce the burning sensation in my feet at night. I massage it into my feet before going to bed and then I rub in some Voltaren gel over it. I have found that using the Magnesium lotion together with the Voltaren works better than using the Voltaren alone.
Welcome @robincamp, I like the Life-Flo Magnesium Lotion also. I use it on my legs and feet at night and wear loose socks over the legs and feet to help keep the legs moisturized.
