My blood sugar number went up. On the Repatha insert anincreased blood sugar level is listed as a side effect. My endocrinologist says this is not caused by the Repatha. He said he was involved in the research of the drug . So my blood sugar is elevated but remains stable at what is considered pre-diabetes . He says it is genetic so have my mother to thank.
So, assuming the blood sugar is not caused by the Repatha, no side effects.

If my blood sugar numbers go up on Repatha I plan to go to Wegovy. Wegovy is now approved by the FDA for reducing blood sugar, reducing cholesterol and it helps with weight loss.
