I too lost my husband last Thursday..he was my high school sweetheart and were married 44 years. I was hoping for a miracle at Mayo, unfortunately my husband had esophageal cancer and other related medical issues. I am happy to connect with anyone to just talk..it is so tough, and it’s only the beginning..

Oh, @klur-, it's so hard, isn't it? It's unbelievable. I'm so very sorry for your loss and sorry for his illness. That's a tough one for sure.
Yes, the beginning is full of confusion, numbness, panic, and everything else that you are feeling. If you find it hard to eat at least try and keep yourself hydrated.

I feel with you and am so sorry for your loss. My husband passed away from this maledite C on Aug. 17th. I don't live in the US but l'd be happy to connect, to talk, chat. As you wrote, this is just the beginning...🙏💐
