Yes! I actually just had redone last week and am awaiting results
Doctor said if negative then just wait and see
If positive we will remove the spot on lung

Re did the cea and remains above normal … so most likely not false positive in my opinion

So glad it was negative! My latest one was also. But I’ve never had a CEA blood test done - should I ask for it? Done with 8 rounds of chemo, resection done in April with a temporary ileostomy being reversed September 25. All scans and signatera tests. negative so far

It is a blood test that is done to show if possible activity with colon cancer
It is usually done before signatera
So I would ask your doctor if needed as signatera may be just as valuable
