If your faint was caused by low blood pressure, or restricted flow of blood, the cause should be determined. Normally, a CT scan, an angiogram, a doppler ultrasound....something has to be done to determine if you have a bad heart valve, a stenosis (narrowing) in an artery.....SOMETHING! A statin is just slowing what's going on, but it obviously hasn't done any good to the point where you are in danger at the moment.

I have been through all of those tests and have minimal stenosis in my coronary arteries. I am finding that others have experienced dizziness and fainting while on Rasuvastatin and Lipitor.
