Broken Bone: Can I Start Evenity if I Need Surgery?

I broke my radial head of elbow and will see orthopedic tomorrow to see if I will need surgery. Also, ready to begin Evenity for my osteoporosis. Is it ok to start Evenity if I need surgery? Thanks!

I would check with your doctor to see if there are contraindications. I just started my Evenity 10 days ago and no side effects so far.

Thanks, @kristie2. My surgeon said not to start it yet, even though I may not need surgery, he said I need to wait until healed.

I started Evenity in May and had a total hip replacement in June the surgeon seemed to think it was all okay.
I had a very good hip replacement experience and so far the Evenity seems well tolerated.

I started Evenity in May and had a total hip replacement in June the surgeon seemed to think it was all okay.
I had a very good hip replacement experience and so far the Evenity seems well tolerated.
