Finally, after 3-1/2 years on Prednisone and several flare-ups, I am today down to my last 1 mg. tablet. I was actually down to 1 mg for a couple of weeks when I had a flare up and the Rheumy put me back to 5 mgs. with a taper every three days. Today is my last pill. Wish me luck. I'll let you know how it goes.
