Hi @bigmaya. Condolences on your loss. For me, listening and reading others' stories of loss has helped. I lost my bride of 56 years September 6, 2022 here at Mayo in Rochester after she gained a couple of months of good life because of Mayo's treatment of lung cancer. I went back to our home in New Mexico and joined a weekly grief support group that helped immensely. AND here I am again in Rochester, this time for me because of Parkinson's. I have found 125 Live here to be immensely helpful: socially, physically, and educationally. I have been to one of the grief support meetings there and it was definitely on target for me. Avoiding isolation and being willing to both listen and to share seem to be the keys for me. 125 Live Grief Support Group
2:30-4pm, 1st and 3rd Thursday. Free and open to the public. If you are in Rochester, it is a good stop.

Peace!

Hello Joe,
I'm so sorry to read about your loss and please accept my condolences🙏
I'm glad for you that you found these groups where you can share and talk about your loss and grief. I am sure it's very helpful!! I don't live in the US and these support groups are not available to me. I thank you for writing to me and wish you good health and peace of mind and heart.
