@leeosteo

gently, thanks for the information. Sounds like Forteo Brand and Teriparatide Generic are identical. Is that your assumption?

You might want to follow up on Medicare Part D. From Medicare & You 2023 Handbook, "Even if you don't take prescription drugs now, consider getting Medicare drug coverage. If you decide not to get it when your first eligible, and you don't have other creditable prescription drug coverage (like drug coverage from an employer or union) or get Extra Help, you'll likely pay a late enrollment penalty if you join a plan later. Generally, you'll pay this penalty for as long as you have Medicare drug coverage."

leeosteo, thanks for the advice on the late enrollment penalty. I was told my penalty would be 5$ a month. But I've already saved 9$ a month ( the cheapest plan) for 7 years. Now the democrats have begun the process of opening negotations for pricing by Medicare. In ten years or so their might be fair pricing on these drugs.
The Forteo pens are $300 in Colombia. I've never been to Bogota.
Has anything worked out for you? I'm hoping.
