One of the things that can cause swelling after surgery is wound infection. It may be that your physiotherapy was rigorous enough to cause the swelling. You might contact your physician's office. Lab values would indentify infection. I would want reimaging of the surgical site, as well. With medical care it is better to be wise than stoic. Add the photo to the post and post it to your surgeon.
