Thank you for your response and information.
I have spoken to two surgeons and one of them suggested CoC uncemented depuy corail and pinnacle with direct superior approach.

The other surgeon suggested CoC uncemented depuy summit and pinnacle with posterior approach.

And both are supposed to be minimal invasive.

I’m contemplating which one would be best for me? As i dont want to have surgery every now and then, and also if i shall actually go with ceramic on ceramic or ceramic on poly because of the risk of ceramic fracture.

I look forward to your advice.

I will tell you what my ortho says about the anterior vs posterior. He prefers the more open field of view for precise placement of the implant, especially on smaller patients, or patients who have complicating factors like revision, extra bone damage or erosion, trauma or small bones.

That said, more "robotic" methods of sizing & implantation are probably being developed for hips just like they are for shoulders, and that would impact which type of surgery.

As for ceramic on ceramic vs ceramic on poly...I almost think you would need a crystal ball to decide. If I were your age, I would probably opt for the longest life before revision if the risks are similar. But I doubt any implant will last you for 50+ years, so there will probably be a revision in your distant future.

I will repeat, I have stayed active, but avoided jolting impacts, and at 12 years the implants look excellent. I quit running, and jumping sports (wallyball) but have continued to walk, bike, hike with light packs, do a little rock scrambling and play tag with my grands...life is good when your legs work and don't hurt.
