I use a rescue inhaler from time to time. It opens up the lungs quickly. Be sure to rinse your mouth out after use. Have had no problems. Do not use Symbicort to maintain asthma. I rarely wheeze. I do think it's time to rethink maintenance though. Hope this helps! Good luck.
