@ch47

🤣🤣🤣
Been years since I’ve had this issue…so I can totally appreciate your frustration! You say your butt hurts, every where, spreading to thighs and hamstrings, and just give you more pt and meds.
I reached a point where I just started telling every doctor I saw about my very personal issues. I didn’t care anymore.
Finally looked up on Dr Google, all of my specific symptoms, areas and ischial bursitis came up. Inflammation. Big drugs don’t help inflammation. Quit big drugs.
Had pt write down all of the painful areas in medical terms, and then took to my orthopedist. I had never discussed this pain with him because I didn’t think this very personal issue/area was something that he dealt with. I let him diagnose, and told pt what he said. She could not previously tell me what it was, because she is not a doctor. Both of them agreed with Dr Google 😂
So, after spine ablation heals and is hopefully effective, at least in some areas, he suggested prolotherapy if needed.
Pain in thighs and hamstrings is starting to dissipate a little, hope it continues up the body…
Also, new pelvic pt in town that does bio feedback. After I see what is going on, will ask for RX to learn that.
Have the doctors “given up” on you? Can you try another approach with a different kind of doc? If my knee hadn’t been in horrible pain after I stopped the oxy, I never would have thought of seeing an orthopedist for my pelvic pain. Pt did fix knee…hey, it’s a start!
Are you on Medicare? If so, you should be able to explore some other routes without much if any expense depending on your back-up insurance.
I was told early on, 50, that surgery would never help my scoliosis, just don’t ever get fat!!! How is that for a good start to health care…
If you want to chat about anything, please feel free to pm me. Who knows?
I will be looking at the info that was just posted about the Mayo Clinic 3 week program to help with chronic pain…if all else fails, might be something else in the toolbox.
I’m with you…

I met with the most amazing functional medicine doctor today she did buy a Feedback. She was basically telling me what was happening inside of my body and everything she said was making sense. I am starting on herbal regimen and hopefully one day I’ll be able to get off of all of these medication‘s I’m on. She is the first person in years as far as the medical professionals that has made me feel seen. Let the journey begin
