I, too, read articles from Cleveland Clinic because I trust them. Thank you for clarifying the preceding post regarding the magazine. I also trust the Mayo Clinic. Most of the "doctoring" I do on myself are from these two clinics. Where I live we have Loma Linda Clinic. They are rated highly but I find it not to be true. I have been through many primary care doctors. Either they leave or I leave. They do have excellent specialists though. I had to have a full hip replacement and I wanted a particular surgeon because I heard he was the best. I had to wait several months but he was the best. Now I walk without pain and only a very small scar which you can scarcely see.

in reply to @thisismarilynb Another good site is the NIH. A wealth of information. Personally, I do not do a lot of Googling regarding my health issues, but if something comes up that I really want to know about I do go to the most trusted sites. On the other hand, my next door neighbor prides herself that she is able to "diagnose" many, including herself, by using the internet. She calls herself Dr. Sandy. LOL
