It seems that everyone has different experiences to share with tinnitus. Most people who get CIs seem to find it dissipates over time. Sometimes settings on our personal technology can be programmed to mask tinnitus. I hope you find it dissipates when you get your external device fitted. Have you asked your audiologist about this?
