Do you have an inspiring or favorite quote to share?
I'll start with three quotes from the very inspiring Helen Keller as noted in "Your Year of Healing" book by Amit Sood, MD:
"Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it."
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched -- they must be felt with the heart."
"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much."

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid
Of the dark
At the end of the storm
Is a golden sky....
A little daily self affirmation:
I am happy.
I am healthy.
I am at peace.
I am free from suffering.
Just saw the dog in the seat pic -- I love it! What a cooperative dog!
Hi Zebra:
I have two and although they are both Golden Retrievers, they are complete opposites. My older one is an English Crème and my younger one is the American Field and he is the one who sits like that. they both think they are one of us, I brush my teeth then they want their teeth brushed, I brush my hair then they want their hair brushed. And for bedspace, well, they think I belong on the floor. But, they are my rock in a very challenging medical journey so they can do no wrong. Have a Blessed night.
Very nice puppies!
in reply to @psychoticnonconformist Yes, the Mayo team has been life changing for me too. That picture of your dog brought tears to my eyes, as he/she looks like a great friend, and it reminded me of a magnet I have on my refrigerator:
"Acquiring a dog may be the only opportunity a human ever has to choose a relative."
-Mordecai Siegal (1934-2010)
What lovely dogs. They know soo much more than we give them credit for. When I am down, my dogs stay by my side. When I am UP they are playful. Oh to be a dog and live with someone who love you because you are a dog. God bress all of them
in reply to @olderdiva12345 Oh my! Now I have a new response to many of the inquiries I get, complaints I receive and things of that nature. Thanks for making my day!

Amen to that. I fully and wholeheartedly agree!
