Replies to "How much K 1 and K2 should’ve taken to thin blood?"
Hello klittr,
What I am about to say will turn off most Americans, but hang in there because it is worth finding the solution. I have a 1/4 cup of fresh natto (Japanese fermented soybeans) as first food in the morning. Natto is the highest source of K1 and K2. If you take K2 capsules, 180mcg would be good. K1 is known as nattokinase and can be found in capsules. I have found them to be ineffective because they have to heat the natto to make a dry nattokinase powder and heat can damage most vitamins. You can buy frozen natto at Asian groceries, but they is likely to be less effective because of the freezing and storage.
Natto turns off Americans because of its appearance and scent. Americans would call it slimy, but that is the "good threads" that forms the nattokinase that thins the blood. Natto should be eaten cold but you could add other cold foods with it such as salsa.
I purchase fresh natto from Brooklyn (nyrture.com). They ship UPS Air with ice packs. I am going to try making my own in an instant pot on the yogurt setting.
The difference can only be described as refreshing. For almost a year, I have been complaining of being tired of being tired. Now I feel normal. Natto may sound strange, but view it as medicine that you need to get better. It will not have negative side effects, but will have positive side effects. K2 takes the calcium that is accumulating in the arteries and takes it to the bones and teeth. The arteries are clean and the bones are strong.
Hi klittr,
A side note is that K1 and K2 used to be in the diet of our ancestors in cheese and eggs when cows and chickens were on pasture. They obtained bacteria from the grass / ground that allowed them to produce K1 and K2. Now with mega-agra the animals do not see pastures and we do not see K1 and K2 in our food and we need to turn to the Japanese alternative: natto.
My oxygen levels fluctuate and I think the blood thinning should help. Thanks
