Your mother has a very baffling set of symptoms. I hope someone here can provide information. I recommend seeing an expert at Mayo. They are well versed in unusual conditions. Best to you and your mother, and kudos for being so proactive and helpful to her.

I sincerely wish I had an answer to your question. There are a lot of people who are in the sane quandary. I’m assuming you asked the question because you have already tried to get her an appointment with Mayo Clinic. Perhaps one of the moderators can give you an answer.
