Keep us posted. Is there a reason why no Progesterone? Did the dr recommend not too?

I’m just asking to learn, as I want to see if I can get on that patch. I have also learned some people do use progesterone too; however, I don’t know anymore than that.

If you have had a hysterectomy you can go on estrogen alone. In fact, that is the safest way to take estrogen. If you still have a uterus, you have to also take progesterone to protect from uterine cancer.

I had a hysterectomy at forty and only needed just the estrogen, not progesterone. But most women I know are on both. Google ERT treatment for osteoporosis and check out what the rest of the world is doing. A recent study in England is worth reading.
