I’m not sure if I’m a candidate. My surgeon in Ohio says it’s too risky, quality of life issues, etc. I have an appt at Mayo on august 16 and 17 and will meet with a surgeon.

I know it must be a terribly difficult situation trying to navigate advanced cancer treatments along with risk and quality of life issues. I'm hoping you can get all of your questions answered at your upcoming Mayo Clinic appoint in mid August. Hey Jake I had my total gastrectomy at Mayo in Rochester in August of 2022 due to stage three stomach cancer my surgery was done by a team led by Dr.Grotz he is one of the Best this is a great site to post and so informational and much thanks to the volunteers stay positive. Dave
