Thank you for the reply and i probably was not clear enough. A home bladder scan was not prescribed for me. I was asking about the possibility, seeing them advertised online, for checking retention from time to time not regularly. I started with a Foley and then switched to self-cathering and then none. With so many procedures done at home, like glucose checking, cpap, covid testing, a bladder scanner seemed a possibility. Scanner are used in hospitals my recent experience tells me so figures home scanners might be useful. I doubt this will go any further. I do appreciate your taking the time to reply and hope my explanation helps you understand the situation better. Thank you.
