Thank you for your words of encouragement. I am taking it one day at time, some days are not so good, but I will go on for my daughter's sake Her dad died of stage 4 lung cancer . I feel for her now that she see's her mom going thru cancer.

Hopefully all will be well, since the surgeon said my cancel is curable. Praying it us, to hopefully see my daughter become pregnant and I can see my first grandchild.

All the best to you.

My children lost their Dad in 2015, so I understand the surviving parent role. My daughter handled my cancer really well at least that's how it appeared to me, behind closed doors it may have been different. My son had a much harder time as his best friend has been killed in a car accident 5 months before I was diagnosed. He never would talk about it, but that's how he handled it so there was not much I could do.
It's been almost 4 months since my surgery and I feel great now and looking forward to all the things I used to look forward to.
The kids are also doing great, both are in love with partners and I'm going on date #3 tomorrow with a man I really like! So from some storms come rainbows 🙂
