@stebro

I am seven months post SBRT proton beam, Mayo Rochester, Gleason 3+4, intermediate unfavourable. Highest PSA 13.8. Current PSA 2.7. Elected to forego ADT. Watching the PSA trend for the nadir. I'm one case for comparison. Good luck, and God bless ...

Thank you for your comment. No ADT for me. Ditto on trend watching. Have a great weekend...

Could I asked what is SBRT proton beam? I had pencil beam proton therapy at UFPTI as Jacksonville Mayo did not have proton. Mayo did MRI and biopsies. There was a scatter beam that could have been done but I have a pacemaker/ICD and physic department wanted to limit the radiation. I think the SBRT means scatter beam radiation treatment but thought I would asked. What is difference if you know.

I also did not do hormone even though first diagnosed with intermediate 3+4=7. But was changed to low risk from Decipher test and no hormone treatment recommended.

How are you now, 2 years and 7 months post-SBRT?
You were intermediate unfavorable, Gleason 3+4, highest PSA 13.8
I was also intermediate unfavorable, Gleason 3+4, highest PSA 10.06
I understand you elected to forego ADT and your PSA dropped to 2.7 post- (after 7 months)
I am 3-1/2 months on Orgovyx now, 2-1/2 months post-SBRT, PSA 0.36 tested today.
I would like to compare notes with you, when did you reach your nadir, and how was your PSA fluctuating last two years?
My next PSA will be in November, my 8th month in Orgovyx, at which time I hope my PSA to be undetectable, or below 0.2; my oncologist indicated that I'm looking at 8 to 12 months before I get off ADT, I'm hoping by 8.
