I have Granuloma Annular e . It started out similar to this, but it started out with the mild rash. These little soft bumps started forming in a circle. More and more were forming rings like ringworms, but the circles are irregular. Their inner circles are purplish, red or white. Some are 2 inches in diameter and on my torso, thighs and going down my arms and legs for the past 3 years. They have never gone away and are spreading. Itching is like attacks and come on suddenly. With steroid cream and care i get relief some time. I can see and feel a change in my body or skin, (hard to explain) but the area about to start the itch attack swells up like a fresh ant bites and itching starts and spreads. Then directly on the opposite side of my body, such as my left thigh, then starts on the right side of my body too. I am now getting the rings down my calves on opposite sides now almost in a matching pattern. Wearing long sleves and jeans.

I, too, had GA years ago. It has now returned and the itching comes on suddenly. I use a steroid when it gets really bad Also, I have been left with bumps on my arms, thighs and back. I am waiting to see a Dermatologist . Also wearing long sleeves!!
