Nothing to it. Just lie still on your back, and let the machine do its job. It doesn't take long. I didn't have any after effects, and was able to drive myself home. Don't worry about it. I'd rather get a PET than go to my dentist.

@puddknocker Too funny on the dentist comment. I was there yesterday. I'd much rather have a PET scan too.

Was terrified. still don't know results because cancelled dr appt..did not want to know. Does Dr call if something shows up on it??
