I don't know if his comment belongs here, but anyway here goes. My oldest son lives in Asia and because of the pandemic was not able to attend his father's funeral. He is here now on a quick visit. Yesterday we went to the cemetery. I looked at my husband's plaque and quickly went back to the car leaving my son alone to do his grieving. When I got in the car I more or less fell apart. Is this what I get for 59 years of marriage? A plaque? I was beyond crying. I screamed and screamed and screamed. I really felt like my heart was in pain and I wondered how I could be in so much pain and not have a heart attack. Of course eventually all stopped. But I don't know if I can ever go back there again.

I'm so sorry Marilyn. 59 years... you must have had so many wonderful experiences and now have so many memories. I'm sure you've heard a lot of sweet comments from people who love and care for you, and though I don't know you I just want to encourage you that it WILL get better. I pray that the God of all comforts will give you His peace. ❤️
