Hi, I'm 14 and a half (turning 15 in november), and I am 173cm/5'8. I was wondering if I could grow taller than 5'10/5'11?

As I grow quite a considerable amount of facial hair compared to my peers (I have to shave every month or so), and my lifestyle is highly active as I do many sports (Boxing, Basketball, Football), and I walk 10 000+ steps everyday to get to school. My father is 5'9, and my mother is 5'5, and my tallest grandparent was 6'0.

Do you guys think I can cross 5'11 with my given Circumstances?

Thanks.

no

Hi John, it sounds like you live an active lifestyle. I hope you read some of the previous responses in this discussion thread. As you probably read, there's no definitive answer that any of us here can give you. Genetics play a role in predicting patterns of growth. But that's not the only factor.

Have you talked with your family doctor - the doctor who has followed you since you were born?
