Anyone have experience with Afinitor + aromatase inhibitor?

I'm scheduled to start Afinitor (Everolimus) along with Aromasin at the end of the month, replacing Faslodex and Arimidex. The possible side effects for Afinitor, and the percentages of those who have them, are leaving me very uneasy. Is there anyone out there who is taking this medication that can share their experiences?

Hi, I am also starting Afinitor and Aromasin. Tomorrow is my 1st day. I was on Verzenio & Fulvestrant for 11 months and my liver lesions stopped shrinking and started growing again. I am nervous about starting this line of treatment, especially because my Dr. told me it usually only works for about 6 months. I tolerated the side effects of the Verzenio & Fulvestrant very well so was extremely disappointed when it stopped working. I'm also very interested in hearing anyones experiences while on afinitor and aromasin, especially knowing if it worked for you and how long. Thanks for any info or tips you can give....this is a scary journey we are on.

I have been on Aromasin for the past 2 years and find no problem and I purchase the generic, Exemestane. Prior to that I tried two other AIs and they were not good for me -- joint aches, etc.

My Ibrance stopped working so want y to o find out about the new drug they want me to take.
