I saw my oncologist and told him about my fingers locking up on my left hand. He told me to stop taking the anastrozole for 6 weeks. If the locking up goes away then he will know it was caused by the anastrozole and he will try me on 10 mg of tamoxifen and a daily aspirin.
He didn't want to start me off with tamoxifen because I have the Factor Five Leiden mutated gene and was concerned about blood clots.
I have been off the anastrozole for 12 days and my fingers are still locking up.
