Does anyone have recommendations on best footwear for neuropathy. I bought a pair of Hokas just wide, not extra wide and had the tingling and cold after wearing them so I’m sticking with the OrthoFeet extra wide since I’ve now spent time breaking them in. But I still have the same sensation going from one room to another just putting my weight in them. I’ve lost the use of a lot of sensory nerves through walking, some PT exercises have caused this as well such as heel and toe walking. My walking is now all over the place, very unsteady although my PT coach says it’s mostly normal and stable. Doesn’t feel like it to me. Are there Skechers that are good for neuropathy? Any advice appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Paul - seems like finding the right footware is trial and error for all of us, as we all have different issues with our PN's. I personally have found Skecher's as the best provider for comfort and support for my gait and balance issues. Some report Skecher's were good until their feet changed to needing a different type of support. I've yet to find a foot store or medical field that specializes in finding the best shoe for me, so I've been through a lot of purchases trying to see what works.
