First, I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot comprehend the pain and grief you carry with you.
There is another thread where I posted my weaning schedule.
I believe it’s under “has anyone successfully tapered off lorazepam?”
Please let me know if you can’t find it.

I’m sorry for your loss. And I can’t fathom having to go thru something like that. I was given klonopin , another Benzo. While 2 months in the hospital for Coumadin poisoning (I was bleeding to death in my abdomen). They quit my klonopin cold turkey. It was a nightmare. They replaced it with lorazepam (adavan) because they wouldn’t continue my klonopin.
One adavan every 24 hours!! I said it wasn’t enough so they put me on adavan every 12 hours. Not acceptable but it did cut the edge off a little bit. Once discharged 2 months later I was fit to be tied. When I got home I went straight for a 1mg of Klonopin and within an hour I was fine. Messed me up. That was in January and February. It is now July and I’m still on klonopin.
