Hi olderdiva, I too have complex issues with these advanced medicines for bone density; for now I have one question (though there are many, really): your bone density test annually: do you worry about radiation accumulating in your body?
I have had many radiation based tests, imaging, and am concerned about it.

Seems hard to believe but the radiology websites list DXA scans as the lowest source of radiation of any common xray like medical imaging. Comparable to 3 hrs of natural background radiation. For comparison digital mamograms give you the equivalent of 25 days. Here's a link to a radiology site listing radiation doses for various types of imaging.

No. I don't due to my advanced age. I have asked a friend who is a retired nurse about two products regarding osteoparosis. She said "NO" to MD1 I think? and gave me a heads up and said Bb BoneBoots looked OK. Hope that helped.
