Hi,
Ive also had chlamydia in may last year and still feeling some symptoms, but not so hard. my main symptom is vaginal discharge which I have ever since I was cured from chlamydia. I’ve tested all STD’s negative, and also Candida, gardanela, streptococcus…
Because of disbalanced vaginal flora for one year I’m very susceptible to new infection. One year they couldn’t find me any bacteria but the last time they found enterococcus and they ordained me Cipro also. Now I need to go retest on it. But in meantime I was reading a lot on that topic (I don’t have symptoms except vaginal discharge) and found out that Lactbacili - good bacteria - are killing these coccus bacteria in vaginal flora and in urinary tract. You can try if you are not already, to use a lot of supplements with lactobacillus as yogurt and oral probiotics, and also maybe some vaginal products. I’ve heard a lot of positive effects of lactobacillus to these bacteria.
I’m now waiting to retest again, hope that I will be negative…

Good luck!

I had similar issue, ER or clinic every 3 weeks or so. Finally a young male nurse (the new ones hear all the new treatments it seems) and he suggested I try D-Mannose supplement. Now uti free for over a years. It's a sugar that coast the bladder lining and prevents irritants from causing 'lesions' in the lining, which then let in any bacteria there. E coli and others are in our body all the time at small amounts which in a normal person don't cause issues. Turns out I was told I have a spastic bladder, irritated by alcohol, chai latte, pop and to a lesser degree coffee. I cut out all but the coffee and some decaf diet cola. Otherwise, I drink lots of water, pee very often, don't take a long car trip unless the driver agrees to let me dictate when we stop. It is a blessing to not know the ER staff by name and have them roll their eyes when I open the door... Good luck..

My daughter did have clamydia early, and had a lesion between her vagina and anus that took about 3 years to heal. That infection is really a doozy it seems, leaving most all with post infection symptoms lasting for years.
