Hi Barb. You are very dedicated and diligent in your dietary and exercise regimen. Good for you! I am still trying to figure some things out and have something else going on that's causing chronic pain--going on 4 years now. I've seen a bunch of docs and had every x-ray and MRI of my spine I can have. I'm going to see a different endocrinologist in a couple of weeks (has taken over 6 months to get in to see her), as I didn't feel very confident in the doctor I've initially seen. I didn't want to take Fosamax, as I need ongoing dental work. I'm glad to hear another person on here has had positive results with that. I have been doing the Forteo injections for about 5 months now and am aware that it makes me very tired, but it's hard to know for certain what other side effects it may be causing (brain fog, I'm pretty certain about too) because I'm in pretty much constant pain. But I didn't mean to go into all this. My question for you is how do you get enough calcium in a vegan diet? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Michelle

Oops, I replied quite far out from Barb's comment. I'll copy my message back on page 1. I'm new to this blog.

Sesame seeds and collards are high in calcium. Tofu also.
